Holmston Hall has stopped all match fishing therefore our match in November has been cancelled. We will add in a replacement match at Cheshire Oaks on the 4th of October.

Brian Wadsworth Memorial Match

On 5 July 2026, members of the Ellesmere Port Angling Club gathered at Hampton Springs (Willow) for the Brian Wadsworth Memorial match. It was a warm day with light cloud cover, providing comfortable conditions for everyone on the bank. Before the match commenced, we took a collective moment to remember Brian, reflecting on his contribution to the club and the sport we all enjoy.

Winner on the day was Gary Boydell with an impressive weight of 124lb 5oz retaining the trophy, well done Gary.
