We headed to Old Hough and Lower Benbo on 26 July 2026 for another competitive outing. Taking the individual crown once again was Gary Boydell, who put on a fantastic display from Peg 9 with an impressive bag of 102 lbs 13 oz to secure 1st place.
Overall Top Standings
The competition for the top spots was fierce, led by Gary Boydell in 1st place (102 lbs 13 oz). Simon Bayley claimed 2nd place with a strong bag of 81 lbs 11 oz, followed closely by Tenchy in 3rd with 50 lbs 7 oz. Paul Lennon took 4th place with 49 lbs 14 oz, while Jimmy Crimes rounded out the top five with 49 lbs 10 oz.
Section Breakdown
In Section A, Gary Boydell dominated with his 1st place winning weight of 102 lbs 13 oz. He was joined in the section by Brian Siddley, who weighed in 46 lbs 15 oz to take 7th position, and Syd Taylor, who finished in 9th position with 35 lbs 1 oz.
Over in Section B, Simon Bayley led the charge by securing 2nd overall with an 81 lbs 11 oz bag. Tenchy also had a great session here, taking 3rd overall with 50 lbs 7 oz. They were joined by Andy Lavender, who finished in 6th position with 49 lbs 7 oz, Wayne Jevons with 22 lbs 5 oz for 11th position, and John Croft, who brought in 18 lbs 8 oz to take 13th position.
Finally, Section C saw Paul Lennon lead the way in 4th overall with 49 lbs 14 oz, closely followed by Jimmy Crimes in 5th overall with 49 lbs 10 oz. Mike Roberts secured 8th position with 39 lbs 14 oz, Pete Doyle took 10th position with 29 lbs 3 oz, and Ian Myers completed the section with 20 lbs 0 oz for 12th position.
