11. Weston Pools - Canal

We travelled to Weston Pools - Canal on 2 August 2026 for our latest match. Taking the individual crown with a stellar performance was Andy Fletcher, who fished from Peg 18 to land an impressive bag of 68 lbs 15 oz and secure 1st place.

Overall Top Standings

Following Andy Fletcher at the top of the leaderboard, Mike Roberts put in a great shift to claim 2nd place with 59 lbs 15 oz. Paul Lennon secured 3rd place with 41 lbs 1 oz, Gary Boydell took 4th place with 40 lbs 4 oz, and Simon Bayley rounded out the top five with 39 lbs 6 oz.

Section Breakdown

In Section A, Syd Taylor led the way by finishing in 9th position overall with 30 lbs 7 oz. He was followed by Ian Myers in 11th with 24 lbs 12 oz, Wayne Jevons in 12th with 22 lbs 0 oz, and Brian Siddley who completed the section in 13th with 15 lbs 12 oz.

Over in Section B, Andy Fletcher dominated to take the overall win with his 68 lbs 15 oz haul. Mike Roberts joined him at the top end of the field, taking 2nd overall with 59 lbs 15 oz. They were supported by Paul Lennon in 3rd overall with 41 lbs 1 oz, Stevie Matthews in 8th position with 30 lbs 15 oz, and Martin Siddley in 7th position with 34 lbs 5 oz.

Finally, Section C saw fierce competition led by Gary Boydell, who took 4th overall with 40 lbs 4 oz. Simon Bayley closely followed in 5th overall with 39 lbs 6 oz, Mark Davies took 6th position with 38 lbs 12 oz, Dave Kell finished in 10th position with 30 lbs 1 oz, and John Mills wrapped up the day with 12 lbs 11 oz for 14th position.
