George Roberts' Memorial Match
The club took the time to remember George today while fishing the final match of the season at Pretty Bridge Canal in Caughall.
The winner on the day was our river/canal specialist Wayne Jevons. Wayne had a great day fishing pinkies over bread and then ground bait further out.
Gary presented Wayne with the Trophy. Well done Wayne!
Brian Wadsworth Memorial Match
As usual the club remembered Brian at the Claypit (Weston Pools). This year was a match to remember with the majority of the club putting together a good weight.
It also produced one of the closest finishes we have seen all season with 1 fish making all the difference, Gary Boydell retained the trophy with a weight of 102lb 12oz narrowly beating Mike Roberts who had 101lb 11oz. Well done Gary!
Gary was presented the trophy by Andy Fletcher.
Bron Eifion 3 Day Festival
